Shane English School, a direct employer, is seeking both new and experienced teachers for positions in Taiwan, including locations in Hsinchu, Taichung, and Changhua. We offer contracts starting from June, July, and August with competitive hourly rates ranging from NT$600 to NT$700. Our compensation package includes performance-based salary increases every six months and a contract completion bonus every 12 months.

We provide paid training, paid annual leave, as well as unpaid leave options. Our students range from Very Young Learners to Elementary and Junior High School students. Teachers will have access to comprehensive course guides, materials, and resources to support a curriculum that prioritizes spoken English and allows for flexible teaching styles.

We ensure continuous support from both school staff and the Head Office, inside and outside the classroom. We also sponsor work permits, Alien Resident Certificates (ARC), and health insurance. Shane English School is not just another language institute but offers genuine opportunities for growth, development, and career advancement in a dynamic and expanding organization.

Please mention that you found the job on Teast for the school's reference.

You need to be from one of the following countries to teach English in Taiwan: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. Some schools may hire teachers with an existing long-term visa, and non-English subjects are not affected by this requirement.
Schools receive many applications and may not reply to everyone. If you don’t hear back within a week, move on to the next job.
Never pay to apply. Never pay to “buy something now and get reimbursed later.” Always verify you’re speaking with the actual school (not an impostor). Scams do exist—be careful.
