Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an English Second Language Instructor in Beomeo-dong, Daegu Metropolitan Area, focused on teaching kindergarten and elementary school level students. The role requires the day-to-day tasks of teaching English to non-English speakers, implementing curriculum, providing constructive feedback to students, and creating a positive learning environment. The instructor will be responsible for delivering plans, assessing student progress, and managing classroom dynamics.
Qualifications
English Teaching, Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and Teaching skills
Experience teaching in Korea
Knowledge of Early Childhood Education
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Bachelor's degree
Details:
• Location: near Suseong-Gu Office Station on the green line of the subway
• Start date: March 4th, 2024
• Full time (2 options):
1) Either 2 to 8pm Mon to Fri,
2) Or 2 to 8pm Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, and 10:30am to 3pm Sat
• Salary: 2.9 million won per month
• Benefits: Housing (or housing stipend), health insurance, pension, severance pay, airfare bonus, and 11 days paid vacation
• Due to South Korea’s visa restrictions, we can only accept applicants that qualify for Conversational English Teaching visas (e-2)
