Details: Looking for Native English teachers 

  * FULL-TIME / FULL-BENEFITS / Start 2.4~2.6 MIL.+ 400,000KRW Housing Allowance + Overtime Allowance

 

● Location: Daejeon Metropolitan City

● Starting Date: March 1st, 2024 (for the 12-month Employment Contract)

● Visa : E-2 eligible or F-Visa

● Working Hours : Mon-Thurs 08:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.(Start leaving at 4:15 p.m.) / Friday 08:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

● Salary range(KRW): 2.4-2.6 MIL

 

● FULL BENEFITS:

- Severance pay: Yes. 1 month’s worth of salary at the end of the contract

- Housing Allowance: Yes. 400,000 KRW per month.

- Merit-based Yearly Raise for 4 years

- Close school on Saturdays, Sundays, and all Red days(national holidays)

- Paid vacation: Yes. Paid 5-week vacation guaranteed (you’ll get 2 weeks in summer and 3 weeks in winter vacation. You may also get an additional 1 or 2 week(s) vacation in Spring Break)

- Paid Sick day: Yes. 10-day Sick day guaranteed.

- Paid Special Leave: Yes. It is for Family Affairs (different days depending on cases).

- 4 Social Insurances in Korea: Yes.

① National Medical Insurance → 50%:50% charge

② National Pension Plan → 50%:50% charge  * South Africa is not eligible for the pension plan.

③ National Employment Insurance → only for the visa holder of F-2,5,&6. The school and the teacher contribution rates, but the school contribution rate is higher.

④ National Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance → School 100% charge

- Visa sponsor for the E-2: Yes. The school is ready to provide all documents for the employer's side. 

- Airfare: Yes. A one-way ticket for the E-2 holder, who is coming to Korea from his/her home country as the 1st time employment contract with the school

● Preference given to licensed and(or) experienced teachers as a full-timer in Korea.
