Hello, I am the manager at Lion English, a language school situated in Seodaemun-gu near Hongdae and Sinchon areas in Seoul. Our goal is to cultivate a stimulating learning environment that fosters active participation and motivates children to excel in English. We primarily cater to elementary school students, focusing on preparing them for Cambridge YLE assessments. Our team, comprising 3 foreign teachers and 3 bilingual Korean teachers, is seeking a dynamic individual to join us.
Position Description:
- Full-time native English teacher for elementary students
- Monday to Friday schedule: 12:40 PM to 8:00 PM
- Up to 30 teaching hours per week with daily preparation time
Candidate Requirements:
- Must have an F-type visa and be currently in Korea
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Prior teaching experience, preferably with young learners
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
- Passion for education and working with children
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
- Flexibility to adapt lessons to students' needs
- Patience, compassion, and a focus on building strong student relationships
