Modulo Language School is seeking a full-time native English-speaking teacher to join our rapidly growing team in Bangkok. We are looking for a dedicated educator who is available to teach during evenings and weekends.

As a teacher at Modulo, you will work primarily with adult learners, but also with children and teenagers across various levels. Our courses range from general and business English to academic test preparation such as IELTS, TOEFL, and TOEIC, as well as phonics and more. Lessons are mainly private, with small groups of up to eight students, though some corporate classes may be larger.

Benefits of working with us include:
- Competitive compensation: Earn 410 baht per 50-minute private lesson during weekdays, with an increase of 15% on Saturdays and 10% on Sundays. Small group classes pay up to 600 baht per lesson. First-year teachers typically earn over 45,000 baht monthly, with a lesson rate increase to 430 baht for those on a second contract.
- Leave: Limited paid leave and up to 34 days of unpaid leave for holidays and vacations.
- Professional development: We offer comprehensive coaching and training, all paid for, to help you enhance your teaching skills.
- Convenient locations: Our four schools are situated along Bangkok's BTS and MRT systems at Siam Paragon, Central World, Central Rama IX, and Icon Siam.
- Visa and work permit assistance: We handle the organization and costs for visas and work permits.
- Additional perks: Health insurance, annual raises, internal promotions, significant course discounts, and more.
- Flexible contracts: Choose between a 5-day or 6-day workweek.
- Team-building events: Quarterly activities such as river cruises, charitable work, and dining at top hotels and restaurants.

To apply, candidates must:
- Hold a bachelor's degree and an English teaching certificate (CELTA, TEFL, or TESOL).
- Be a native English speaker from Canada, the US, the UK, Ireland, or Australia.
- Be currently residing in Thailand or willing to relocate.
- Commit to a one-year contract.
- Be available evenings and weekends.

Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before applying. If a post says “NES” or “Native English Speaker”, it usually means applicants must be from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa (sometimes it’s a preference, not a hard rule).
Schools receive many applications and may not reply to everyone. If you don’t hear back within a week, move on to the next job.
Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies are paid by the schools—not by you. If you’re unsure how they make money, ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag. Avoid them and let us know so we can ban them.
Never pay to apply. Never pay to “buy something now and get reimbursed later.” Always verify you’re speaking with the actual school (not an impostor). Scams do exist—be careful.
