Native English Teacher Opportunity at Modulo Language School, Bangkok
Modulo Language School, the fastest-growing language school in Bangkok, is seeking a full-time native English-speaking teacher. The position requires teaching during evenings and weekends.
Our ideal candidate is a personable, knowledgeable, and friendly teacher dedicated to helping students learn while continuously improving their teaching skills. You will be teaching a diverse group of learners, primarily adults (70%+), but also children and teenagers at various levels.
Modulo Language School offers an array of courses, including general English, business English, academic test preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC), and phonics. Most lessons are private, with small group classes having a maximum of 8 students. We also work with corporations, where classes can be larger.
Benefits of Working at Modulo:
- Competitive pay: Earn 410 baht per 50-minute private lesson (Monday to Friday), with a 15% increase on Saturdays and a 10% increase on Sundays. Small group classes pay up to 600 baht per lesson. Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before applying. If a post says “NES” or “Native English Speaker”, it usually means applicants must be from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa (sometimes it’s a preference, not a hard rule).
Schools receive many applications and may not reply to everyone. If you don’t hear back within a week, move on to the next job.
Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies are paid by the schools—not by you. If you’re unsure how they make money, ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag. Avoid them and let us know so we can ban them.
Never pay to apply. Never pay to “buy something now and get reimbursed later.” Always verify you’re speaking with the actual school (not an impostor). Scams do exist—be careful.
