We are seeking a dedicated, student-centered High School English Teacher to teach Grade 9–12 Language Arts; including literature, writing, and critical communication skills. The ideal candidate will inspire critical thinking and foster a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned English Literature and Language Arts curricula for Grades 9–12.
-Assess student performance using formative and summative methods, providing actionable feedback to support student growth.
-Integrate pedagogical strategies that cultivate critical thinking, analytical writing, and collaborative discussion.
-Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and administrative colleagues regarding academic progress and student well-being.
-Update Mark Book for Report Cards
Required Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in English, English Education, Literature, or a related field.
-Valid teaching license/certification for Secondary Education (English)
-Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience in high school English (Grades 9–12).
Native-fluent English proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
