HeadStart International School in Phuket is expanding its esteemed dance program and is looking to hire two qualified and experienced full-time Dance Coaches. The positions available are as follows:
Dance Coach 1: Jazz and Ballet
- Must possess qualifications in ballet or jazz such as ATOD, CSTD, ISTD, or RAD.
- The position involves teaching at our Cherngtalay Campus.
- Teaching hours are scheduled between Monday and Saturday.
- The contract start date is negotiable, ideally commencing on 1st June 2026.
Dance Coach 2: Hip Hop, Gymnastics, and Cheerleading
- This role requires teaching at both HeadStart campuses: Chaofah (4 days) and Cherngtalay (2 days).
- Teaching hours are scheduled between Monday and Saturday.
- The contract start date is negotiable, ideally commencing on 1st August 2026.
Successful candidates will join a dedicated and talented team, contributing to recent achievements such as ATOD competitions, annual dance recitals with over 120 students, and large-scale musical theatre productions through CAPA.
We are seeking dynamic individuals who can bring strong teaching skills, creative choreography, energy, and a collaborative spirit. All classes are conducted and assessed in English; therefore, proficiency in English is essential, and certification may be required.
Application requirements:
1. A solo performance video in one of the relevant styles.
2. A video recording of teaching a class or workshop in a different style.
3. For the Hip Hop, Gymnastics, and Cheerleading role, a video demonstrating techniques for supporting students with tumbling skills.
