Job Title: ESL Teacher (ISP Program)
Learn Satit Pattana School (LSP) in Bangkok is seeking a passionate and qualified ESL Teacher to become part of our vibrant teaching team. The successful candidate will teach English as a Second Language to secondary students (Grades 7–11) using the U.S. curriculum. This full-time role offers the opportunity to inspire students, enhance language skills, and potentially grow into a leadership position within the English department.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging ESL lessons to improve students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Employ differentiated instruction and diverse teaching strategies to foster English language proficiency.
- Create and execute a master plan to improve students’ CEFR levels, ensuring structured progression.
- Design specialized courses for standardized exams like IELTS and SAT.
- Promote critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback for academic success.
- Incorporate project-based and real-world learning into the curriculum.
- Support students in preparing for standardized tests and advanced courses.
- Collaborate with colleagues on instructional strategies and curriculum development.
- Mentor fellow teachers and potentially take on leadership roles.
- Encourage participation in extracurricular activities related to English.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or related fields.
- ESL, TESOL teaching certification or equivalent preferred.
- Kurusapa teaching license preferred.
- Native English speaker with 3–4 years of secondary school teaching experience.
- Skilled in curriculum design and student assessment.
- Experience with CEFR progression and standardized exam preparation.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Proficient with educational technology and digital teaching tools.
