Varee Chiangmai School has begun early recruitment for teachers interested in joining our school for the 2026 academic year which begins at the end March. We are arranging interviews for candidates who are willing to commit to a one year, full-time position. Our hiring process requires that all teachers, regardless of qualifications, demonstrate their ability to engage learners effectively through a successful demo lesson.

Our school, located near the city center, provides modern facilities and well-equipped classrooms. Varee Chiangmai School stands out in Northern Thailand for being licensed to teach both Thai and International Curricula. We are seeking individuals who can effectively plan lessons within an integrated curriculum, with a preference for those experienced in project-based and active learning.

At Varee Chiangmai School, we prioritize the professional growth of our educators through our Teacher Support System (TSS). We offer opportunities for both professional and financial advancement to individuals dedicated to their career development with us. Teachers pursuing additional credentials can expect support from the school, along with a salary increase upon completion of their studies.

Our benefits include Allianz Medical Insurance (plan 1) with outpatient coverage, Work Permit and Visa renewal (covered by the school), 8 weeks of paid holiday (excluding public holidays), and a diverse selection of free lunches at the food court.

All teachers must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. We are only accepting applications for native English speakers who hold a passport from UK, Ireland, US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand. To apply please send your CV and a cover letter to recruitment@varee.ac.th. Only applicants willing to visit the school in person will be considered.

Please mention that you found the job on Teast for the school's reference.

Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before applying. If a post says “NES” or “Native English Speaker”, it usually means applicants must be from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa (sometimes it’s a preference, not a hard rule).
Schools receive many applications and may not reply to everyone. If you don’t hear back within a week, move on to the next job.
Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies are paid by the schools—not by you. If you’re unsure how they make money, ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag. Avoid them and let us know so we can ban them.
Never pay to apply. Never pay to “buy something now and get reimbursed later.” Always verify you’re speaking with the actual school (not an impostor). Scams do exist—be careful.
